"Federal Way is more than just my home—it's my heart. That is why I am running for mayor."

Our Mission
Leading our city with integrity, vision, and compassion.
Public Safety
As the only candidate in this race with decades of experience in criminal justice, I know how to work with law enforcement to ensure our neighborhoods are safe while fostering trust and accountability.
True public safety means more than policing; it requires robust community resources and expanded access to employment opportunities that address the root causes of crime and instability.
Housing Action
We need housing that meets the needs of all our residents, and I will champion development that is thoughtful and sustainable.
That means promoting diverse housing options, from affordable apartments to middle-income homes, while ensuring smart growth that protects green spaces, improves infrastructure, and strengthens our neighborhoods.
Community Resources
Our non-profits and local businesses are essential to our city’s success. I will work to ensure they have the resources they need to thrive. And for our seniors, I will prioritize safe, enriching spaces to support their well-being.
Whether it’s improving senior center programs, enhancing public transportation options, or ensuring access to quality healthcare, I am committed to making Federal Way a place where all generations can live with dignity and security.

About Saudia
Saudia moved to Federal Way over a decade ago and it has remained one of the most fulfilling decisions of her life. She raised her son here, spent countless hours enjoying our beautiful parks, participated in activities at our recreation center, and relied on our public transit to get to where she needs to go. She shops locally and has come to know and love the people who make this community so vibrant.
